Daily Oral Care Screening
(D-TRACK) Training
Specifically designed to train dental professionals to emulate the program for their state or corporation.
The Challenge
Oral health among older adults (65+) residing in long-term care facilities (LTCFs) is a significant concern, with a high incidence of dental caries, periodontal disease, and progressive tooth loss. Additionally, insurance companies, including CMS, are spending approximately $3.4 billion on non-traumatic dental issues treated in emergency rooms across the United States. This situation not only affects elderly but also impacts children, who are missing valuable school time due to dental emergencies.

The Solution
By training Directors within medical healthcare settings, we can effectively integrate oral health into general health care, reaching a broader audience. This initiative addresses a long-standing goal of the dental industry. With this approach, CMS and other insurance companies can reduce costs while ensuring children have improved access to care and better oral hygiene. Additionally, parents can actively oversee daily oral care interventions for their children, promoting healthier outcomes.
